Below is a SCANNED page of a typical Steam Plumbing Diagram for a PARIS Steam-Air Finisher. While most form finishing machines have the same configuration, there may be some slight differences in the parts and setup of different age machines and models.
The information provided here is to assist in plumbing the equipment to get the driest steam possible. The amount of moisture or wetness of the steam should be controlled by adjusting the steam pressure at the steam source (boiler) to produce the very best quality of finish possible.
We recommend 90 psi of steam for optimum performance. Higher pressure will result in hotter and drier steam and less pressure will result in wetter steam which could result in damp garments or longer air drying times.
